Rebecca Lesny has been an artist local to the Harrisburg area for the last seven years, selling both privately and through local galleries.  Her preferred media is either a combination of watercolors and India ink or walnut oils.  Every piece that she creates, while being diverse in style, is meant to convey the same theme which is based on both motion and emotion.

Each painting in Rebecca’s collection is meant to instill a sense of peace and calm in the viewer.  There is a particular serenity that can be achieved by living in the moment and relaxing into the experience of sensation.  Her works focus on that joy: the feel of the sun on your face or the wind flowing past you, almost through you, the simplicity of a smile or a sigh.   Her hope, as an artist, is that the viewer can feel the same sense of  Zen in looking at her work that she feels when creating it.
